It is designed to support communication and education through the visualization of existing imaging data. All medical decisions must be made using regulated diagnostic systems and professional clinical judgment.
Avoiding Unnecessary Surgery
37-Year-Old Professional Basketball Player
Initial Diagnosis
Presented with persistent pain following a fibula fracture. Standard 2D imaging raised the possibility of non-union, prompting discussions about potential surgical options.
AthleteVR Assessment
A 3D model generated from existing imaging provided an immersive view of the fracture site, making spatial features like callus formation easier to interpret and communicate among the broader care team.
Outcome
Alongside clinical evaluation and imaging review, the 3D visualization helped support the team's confidence in the healing trajectory. Surgery was ultimately not pursued, and the athlete resumed recovery without additional intervention.
What Our Users Say
